Cuervo is an example of what can be called a “semi-ghost” — a town that still “exists” as a town, but with very few remaining residents. The town is publicly accessible via dirt roads and is a mixture of public and private property. It became a “ghost” beginning in the 1960s (see the Full Article link below for more details and photos).
