The Elizalde Cement Plant ruins, near Beatty, Nevada, offer an example of a relatively modern industrial site that has been abandoned in what is seemingly the “middle of nowhere” in the desert. Like other modern sites, it has attracted its share of graffiti-artists. The site is now part of the public lands administered by the BLM, but there is currently no specific signage or preservation efforts there (see the Full Article link below for more details and photos).
